Went to Publix today with my rain checks (they may not always have what i need in stock that is on sale, with so many people shopping sales these days, and its sad lol, but I can always get a rain check to come back later and get what i need) I got more than what i am showing here, but Im just using the products in my pantry as an example of what you can have by couponing!
Total Before Coupons : 90.81
Total After Coupons : 10.02
Total Savings: 80.79 ( that justifies all the stuff i got at walmart yesterday , which includes 3 schick hydro razors and 4 (4pack) refills plus a BUNCH of other stuff)
Whats in that 90.00 pantry you ask? Lets break it down!
28 boxes of ronzoni pasta (linguini, rotini, penne, spagetti) total retail price is 1.89 a box
10 boxes of ritz crackers (cheese and peanut butter sands, vegetable, sour cream munchables) retail 3.09-3.89
2 boxes of velveeta sheels and cheese retail 2.09 a box
All of these items were BOGO and i had coupons (except for the mac and cheese)
Remember you can use 1 coupon per item purchased even if it was the free item so i got 5 boxes of the crakcers free and i was able to use 1.00/2 (5 of these) coupons on top of that
For the pasta I got 14 of them for free and i had coupons for 1.00 off 1, so i actually MADE 3.08 on these! I paid NOTHING and got money off of other items, yes its possible! In Georgia we have to pay sales taxes, but for my Texas friends, if you can get the after coupon price for free, then its really FREE!
